Daisy Scout Christmas Party
Today, Reese exchanged gifts with her fellow Daisy Scout members. Their leader read "The Night Before Christmas" and every time she said the word "the", the girls exchanged their gifts. It was really neat. Reese was a little disappointed because she really wanted the present that she brought, but I guess that is part of growing up.

Happy Birthday, Elle!
Elle celebrated her third birthday with a small party attended by her playgroup friends. She had a great time and made out like a bandit. The morning winded down with some cookie decorating and ended with a nap. Can you believe the little princess is 3?

Happy Thanksgiving!
We hope that everybody had a pleasant Thanksgiving. We spent ours at Uncle Paul and Aunt Judy's house. Uncle Paul made a most wonderful turkey and my requested Chipotle Mashed Potatoes and peas with pearl onions. Cousins Marie, Juliea and Jessieca were there to spend the holiday with us. We had not seen them for a while, so we were surprised to see how the girls looked more grown up.
Do you see anything different about Noelle? She received her first haircut this past Wednesday. She was so excited and talked about it all day. She gabbed and gabbed with the hairdresser about everything and behaved so well.

First Snow Day of the Year!
The kids awoke to a belated Halloween surprise this morning. Lots of snow and NO SCHOOL! They spent about a half hour in the backyard before coming in due to bitter winds. So now, they get to gorge themselves on candy AND cause havoc in the house due to a sugar high and the fact that it is too cold to play outside. CALGON, TAKE ME AWAY!!!!!
In the backyard.

Room Decorating
October Vacation
October found us traveling cross-country again, with a final destination of Grand Rapids, MN. Our first stop was in Omaha, NE, where we paid a visit to the Henry Doorly Zoo. Our next stop was in Minneapolis, MN, to visit with various aunts, cousins, a grandma and an uncle. We had a great time with trips to the Mall of America, Underwater Adventures, Edinborough Park and Uncle Shirley's new townhouse. We then made our way up to Mimi's house where she indulged us in a pumpkin patch trip, a movie, lots of Korean food and a shopping spree. The weather started to turn frigid in Minnesota and we were happy to find ourselves in a more comfortable climate when we returned home.
