Today, Reese played in her first soccer game. Her team did really well and everyone had a great time. Jeff was very excited to help her put on her shin guards and socks. It's a good thing Jeff was here to do it because I had no idea how to put the socks on. It was a 10 minute ordeal for me to put the shin guards on for the first time a few days ago.

Emily's school choir was invited to sing the National Anthem for our local minor league baseball team's game today. Emily herself was part of a smaller select group of kids to sing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" later in the game.

Noelle's Purple Room

Here are some pictures of Noelle's newly painted room. The original plan was to have different shades of purple on the wall, but we liked the way that the white contrasted with the purple and decided to go with this design instead. We removed the toddler bed and put in Emily's bed. Emily got a queen sized bed when Reese received her new bed. I have the material for curtains and just need to set up my sewing machine to make them. I am also in search of some dressers for the girls and that will free up some space in their rooms as the dressers will be able to fit inside their closets. A few toy organizers and a ceiling fan/light fixture and the room will be complete.
