No pictures this time, but just an update. We made it to Redmond, WA yesterday evening. We left Colorado Springs at about 5 p.m. on Friday. We drove approximately 5 hours to Rawlins, WY. The next day we left at about 9 a.m. and made it to Ontario, OR. After enjoying the pool, we hit the sack and left the next morning on what would be our final leg of the trip. When we got to the hotel, we met up with Jeff's boss and his family and ate dinner at a restaurant that sits right on the waterfront. We had the most wonderful crab legs and it was such a perfect start to our month-long adventure.
Today, Jeff took us on a tour of the immediate area and made sure to point out Trader Joe's. He also took us to his place of employment and we were able to see where he spends so much of his time. Jeff had also organized a BBQ for his team members, especially those who are from the Denver office. The day culminated with some pool time and a special boat cruise around Lake Union to observe the fireworks.
I'll be sure to keep everyone updated on our month of fun and I am trying to figure out how to upload pictures to the website from Jeff's computer. If I can't do it while in Washington, I'll be sure to get them posted after we return to Colorado. Although, that is IF we return and then don't be surprised if there are a lot of pictures of fresh fruit and seafood. :)
